LED Games
After electro-mechanical games, and before "true"took
videogames over the arcade scene, there were some arcades and
pubs with LED coin-op games.
These games were made of a panel of monochromatic LED lights that
turned on and off, representing all the elements of the game. For
example, if the game was a version of Space Invaders, the base, the
aliens and the shots were all made of LEDs.
We do not consider these games LED games to be videogames, because an LED panel with so few pixels can not be called "video" ("display" is a better term).
Here's an example of these games. Images provided by Teo. The manufacturer is unknown. Another widespread LED game was the "reflex-tester"
