FAQ

Who are you? Where do you live? Which is your real name? Are you a male or a female? Is your real name Debbie (or Deborah)?

I'm a guy who lives in northern Italy. For personal reasons I prefer to hide my name. Deb is my signature record-holder, since I am not particularly good at playing computer games and I often get low scores, I use to sign "deb", which means novice (from the Italian term "debuttante").

What topics we talk about on this site?

This website is about Italian coin-op video games.
Gambling games, such as videoslots, are not covered. This is because these games are very numerous, are similar, and catalog them all would make the project too big.
Pinball are not covered. This website is hosted within tilt.it, which is the best source of information on Italian pinball.

When did you start? Why haven't you updated for years? When you come back?

This project started in 1999 and continued until 2008.
Then the World Wide Web has changed, new standards have arrived, and we had to redo everything to ensure compatibility, and I did not have time, so I stopped updating.
At the end of 2012 I tried to build a new version ... and here it is.

Why did you remove some parts from your old site?

I'm putting in the new site all the information from the old site.
Some, however, were incorrect and have been removed. For example, the parts about the game "One Shot One Kill" (it is a Korean game running on German hardware) and Den-Trecision games (were never been released).

Why the English translation is so horrible?

English is not my native language. For this reason, I often commit errors of translation. Please forgive me.
Many errors have been corrected by Stiletto, of the MAMEteam, whom I thank.
You can suggest a better translation to my mailbox (see Contacts page).

How do you expect that I would be interested?

I don't expect it. Go to a search engine and write an interesting argument for you.
